  • Possibility of Tire Rub?

Hey All, I plan on getting some Chrome C5's tonight on ebay, (today is my birthday, im turning 17!! yay) and My parents are helping me get them. But the only wheels on ebay that are relatively cheap are a 17" x 8.5" front rim and an 18" x 10.5" rim back combo, I plan on relatively lo profile tires but I REAAAALLLY need to know if these are going to have a problem with rubbing and if the back tires will need fender work....PLEASE respond ASAP cuz i need to make a descision within 8 hours lol.... thanks all

I bought 17x9's for my camaro, and have the 275-40-17's on it. I had a minor rub when I hit a bump on the road, so I went to SLP and bought the jounce bumper spacers. They were relatively cheap at around $26. They do not come with new rubber, just the spacer for your existing bumper. No more rubs here.

I have the 18" C5 wheels on the back of mine with 275/35-18 tires and mine don't rub too much. I also have H&R springs on there. One thing that really helps is the set of KYB AGX shocks set to level 8 (stiffest).
