  • DIY cross drill rotors.

    DIY cross drill rotors.

So anyone ever cross drill or slot their own rotors.
That is if you have the right equipment.

Shouldn't the holes be chamfered so the edge isn't to sharp???
    Like using a counter sink.

Drill into and though the spline or say fin framing in the middle or drill through the open spaces?

Is there a min size hole that is effective?

I know what your gonna say but best to offer good help advise.
I am asking cause I know a guy already doin it. and I told him id check out some stuff before he drilled anymore.

Realistically, there should be no problem with it.
Even though you can spend money any buy some.
Its all they did was drill some holes through em.

So true. DIY cross-drilling is a very BAD idea.

It does not sound like a good idea to me either.

All it will take is two drill holes that are too close to each-other, and catastrophe begins.
              As said above...just buy them.
