  • BMR Boxed SFC Questions....

Hey guys, I just bought some BMR boxed red SFCs, and I have a few questions. I know that the car must be lifted on it's wheels, and not on the jack points.

Where exactly do they weld to? Is there any way I can prevent rust on my SFCs at the welding point?

Also, has anyone experienced "the clunk" as described in the BMR instructions? Any other tips or recommendations I should know of?

I am looking forward to having the bright red SFCs show on my car. I think I will paint my calipers red to match them afterwards

    Thanks guys! :D

Typical experience for anyone who has subframe connectors or aftermarket LCA's. It's a matter of not torqueing the LCA bolts & nuts to the proper specification. Just follow their advice... if you hear the clunking, just tighten up the bolts & nuts some more. :D

they weld to where they connect at the ends. Basically the "tab" you see for the front, you weld around it in the shape of a U. The bottom of the U being the front of the car. At the rear it welds to where the LCA attaches to the car. Again, you weld at the sides of the "tabs".
Spray some paint on it when u are done. I got no clunks at all and I am using the stock bolts.
