• Hitting bumps- action transfers to the wheel

My heady-ride Goes over a bump of pothole or even anything real small, and the steering wheel jerks a bit. its enough to make myself correct the wheel as i travel at speeds 40+. its really f-in annoying. whats with this? anyone have a simalir problem. Its worse than it sounds. what helps aborb the shock from the road?

Does it do it on both tires?
Are you hitting the bumps with the tire that jerks? or are both tires hitting the bump?

When did it start and did you have any front end work done during this time?

Sounds like bumpsteer. Your tie rods could be worn out. I had real bad bumpsteer and had to get some adjustable tie rods from Baer. They were kind of a pain to get adjusted right....took 5 shops to finally find one to do it.
