I need some new tread on my wheels. i went to goodyear for the same stock tires i have, and he qouted me $788 for all new 4 tires/ with the istallantion and stuff. dude you got to be kidding me... thats a lot of green for the bloody tires. What prices have you homies got? I want to same tires. any suggestions buds?

Eagle HP's, 520$ for 4 including balancing, installation and taxes + free balancing and rotation in future.

Go online and look for cheapest deal around. Then ask the tire shop if they will pricematch.

I would definately suggest tirerack. They have great deals.

OEM tires (stock that comes with a car) are always insanely marked up - make a great profit from people who just want the same thing on their car. Usually there's an equivalent non-OEM tire from the same manufacturer that's a normal price range.

I'd use the tire rankings and tests on tirerack.com and get something better for less money.

Do a search before getting kuhmo's .... A million people on here will swear they are the best things sinced sliced bread but I for one hate mine. They are very inexpensive however, and if you need new rubber and funds are limited they will for sure be easy on your pocket book.

Summitomos are almost as cheap as the kuhmos and IMPO a better tire....(not as greasy feeling).

Which ever way you go I would check out tirerack. Almost immposible to beat their prices on just about every tire made.

If you have a Sam's club nearby and $ is a bigg issue, sometimes you can get a better deal than tirerack on whatever brand they have on sale. (That is kinda hit and miss though.)

I got my 245-50-16 BFG KDWS's for about $600 installed, balanced, and everything. For the performance tire they are, they have amazing snow traction IMO.

yokohama es100s = that is my only suggestion.
$100/tire.

PS, stock GAs have a 45,000 mile warranty. Make use of it!

Where can I find out about this warenty? My tires are looking a little rough and I may need new ones this summer. It'd sure be nice if I didn't have to buy new ones.

Fork out the money for some Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s...you will be impressed.
