      add a little pressure to the axle instead of letting it just hang. just a little.

          ok, I have the drivers side sitting on a jackstand, I have a jack under the pumpkin with very little pressure and I put a jack under the framerail...

          Nothing.

            Good luck, maybe if you had a couple friends around you could manhandle it into place. try unhooking the rear, hook up the front then try to rebolt the rear. Is the lca the rod next to the drive shaft that trys to limit wheel hop? If it is that may work.
