I just made a call to SLP and talked to a guy there, he said that the swaybars for the rs and gt pkg were stock trans am or z28 take off parts.I asked about 1LE parts he said because the front springs were not heavy duty 1LE parts, a 32mm swaybar would not be a good idea. What are the stock swaybar sizes for the 98+ trans am.Does anyone here have the SLP GT or RS package, that can verify the sizes for the front and rear sway bars?.

Well, you can tell that guy doesn't know swaybars. He's got it backwards.
Because the _front_ springs are soft on V6s, a larger _rear_ bar is a bad idea. A bigger _front_ bar actually goes well with soft front springs.
The swaybars on the trans am and z28 are 30/19. It's a poor combination on stock V6 springs.
Sway bars are a popular mod because they really change the feel of the car. They also require a lot of knowledge to choose properly. You can easily screw up the handling. There's a lot of bad information out there on swaybars. Like what that guy told you.2000 Firebird convert, chameleon/tan, M5, Y87, TCS, BMR tower brace and panhard, KBDD sfcs, 245/50-16 GSCs
