Went to my local tread quarters and picked up some 245/50/16 Fuldas. They are German goodyear F1's Wow! what a tire!! Walked out the door with mount, blance and disposal for $456.. They are supposed to be like 550, but I know how to haggle. Anyways.. with 34 psi I Drove out, came to the first red light after the shop(about 1/4 mile), floored it when it turned green... NO SPIN! next light, Stalled it to 2k, left the line with a chirp! Took them to the track on Friday, with a quick spin, and no smoke on the bunout, I was able to pull 2.09-2.18 60' at 30 psi!
These tires are sticky! they are soft though, with only a 200 treadwear, but oh well, I just have to keep the burnouts down. I would say that this is the best tire I have had on the car and anyone elses car i have ridden/drove. Minimal road noise, and the ride is smooth, bumps do not radiate through the car. Highly reccomend these tires to anyone who needs a good tire for street/strip use!
