Ur cars do not act like a caddy. of course u are going to feel every bump and stuff, i sure do. it will be impossible to not feel the road your driving on, our cars are low to the ground and dont aborbe shocks very well , as to a caddy. but if your going to upgrade eveything it should help some, but not totally eliminate it.

You bought new ultra high performance summer tires, in a wider size (less sidewall) and your ride (and maybe road noise too) is worse. No surprise, choosing tires is a tradeoff and the new tires are almost surely the reason for your stiff ride.

To answer your question, these would make your car much smoother and quieter, but won't handle as well. 215/60s would give you the best ride/least noise.

Shocks and ride is a complicated thing. Performance shocks, like Bilsteins, will generally be a bit stiffer, but will control bumps more precisely. For some that translates to a better ride, for some, worse. Matter of taste. Sam Strano would be a good source for ideas on shocks.

Here's a pic of my 215/60s on my BIRD
I wonder if'they're a bit too skinny for the 3800, and probably too skinny for 4th gen rims.

Well, I checked the air pressure on the tires today and for my surprise they were a mess. The right front tire had 45 psi, the left front tire had 36 psi, the right rear tire had 40 psi and the left rear tire had 38 psi. I was f*ing piss off. I'am calling those guys tomorrow (America's tires).
Anyway, I set them all at 35 psi and the ride is unbelievable better. Like day and night. I chose 35 psi because I thought that would be good but if I am wrong please correct me. Still, the ride is much better now.
Like I said on my first post, our cars don't have the most confortable ride, and I knew that, but the ride got worse after I put the new tires. I didn't know if it was the tires or my shocks (that I still believe are bad. Any way to checkt that?) but now I know it was definetely the tires.
          Thanks for your help guys.
