275/40 17s fit w/o modif?

  • 275/40 17s fit w/o modif?

    im gettin those hot z06 rims 17 with the 275/40 tires....are those gonna fit with no problem in all 4 wheel wells??/
    SLP CAI, RK Sport headers, P&Ped heads and intake, GT2 cam, Upgraded valvetrain, Z28 rear axle with 4.10s Tx Spd tune, Z06 rims, 2.5\" exhaust to flowmaster, 160* thermo, B&M ripper, upgraded ignition, rockford fosgate 12\" with sony xplode amp and HU.

      Depends on the offset.. Are they OE wheels or replicas?

        I have OEM zr1s, that tire size, rim is 17X9.5 and fit all 4 corners no problem...

          they are replicas....so i should be straight then, hell yea....time to get the check book out

            My TTIIs are 275/40, no problems here...

              The only thing you may have a problem with is the rear tires rubbing inside of the wheelwell when you hit a bump. This can be caused by worn out springs. You can easily fix it by installing a jounce bumper spacer like I did, or install new'er (less worn) rear springs...or both ;)

                Yeah as everyone else has said you wont have a problem. I have the Dayton 275/40 ZR 17 on Firehawk rims and they are great. The only con that I have is that you feel alot more driving than you did with the stock tires.

                    On my C5 rims I am getting 245/40zr17s and 275/35zr18s -- now THATS a setup ;)

                      I have 17's with 285 50's on the back, and a 2" drop, and have never had any problems.
