i tried posting this last night but dont see it so here we go again. I have 17"x9" rims with 275/40ZR17 on them and i want to lower my car. Do you think the tires will rub on anything? how low do you think i can go? thanks for the help

They shouldn't rub. Lowering is all based on prefference. Try to find a buddy that has lowered their car and see if you like it before you do it! I personally would not go more than 2". More than 2" inches makes the car looked slammed and majorly ghetto. I like about 1 1/2" or so. After all is said and done, it's your call. Good luck [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]
I almost forgot. If you lower your car I would definitely do some suspension work! Just my $0.02. :D

I wouldnt go any lower than I'm at currently. 1 1/2 drop with Eibach Pro-Kit is deffinately enough. Any more than that your gonna teeter on speed bumps [img]smile.gif[/img] And yes look quite ghetto. I actually have suprised some believers in keeping ride height the same.
