    ok guys this is difficult to explain. i got zr1 17 x 9.5 with 275 40 17.
    problem:
at 70 plus when i turn a hair to right i have a slight vibration under my feet but not when i turn hard, another problem is that it just seems like the steering wheel will just turn on me sometimes, like i have to be on top of the steering wheel all the time, not like my stockers, btw when i got them put on i got a front end alignment, and it doesnt pull to one side just it pulls to a side it feels like it when it wants to????????please help???

Welcome to the avenue of road drift. When I switched from my 16's to 17's, I found out that wider tires tend to follow irregular patterns in the road. The shaking may be due to a balance problem. have them recheck the balance, especially after getting new tires intalled. that tire lube will let the rim slip in the tire making your wieght to be in the wrong location, causing vibration. I personally would have went to a 285/40R17 on 9.5" rim. -Tim

It doesn't matter whether you bought the wheels and tires separately or together. You still have to get them balanced, which you didn't mention having done.

No, "road drift" or "hunting" is normal for this size tire. Nothing you can change, or fix.
