  • new shocks and springs in rear, old ones in front

I am planning on putting the new springs, shocks, panhard bar, and LCA on the rear of my car. Would it hurt the handling or anything else if I drove around with the new springs and shocks on the rear and left the stock springs and shocks on the front?
The reason being is that I want to save money for a shop to just put on the front springs, shocks, and front sway bar.
    Thanks

At least do the front sway by yourself....its easy. The rest can be done by you if you buy or borrow a spring compressor from a local auto store. You just need to be real careful when you are messing around with that much spring pressure. I did it my self and it wasn't that hard. I replaced the shocks at the same time too. There are plenty of good guides on how to do it just try searching. But now to your original question....It won't help the handling any if you replace the rear and not the front but its probably not dangerous.
