Hey all, I requested a quote from bimmer on bilstein HD shocks on all corners of my 01 firebird. they replied promptly the next mornin' and i was thrilled at the 289.88 price quote...upon my "checking" of my parts to make sure they were correct before purchasing.. i noticed that of the three selections of bilstein HDs' one name (under the brand column) is actually bilstein while the other two (the ones bimmer quoted me for) are of the brand name SPECORD or somthing...so far my first quote was 289 and now its 291 for the same thing...maybe if i get a few more quotes i can order the cheapest one they give me hehhee. anyway i just wanted to know why the brand name was SPECORD and not BILSTEIN even though they are BILSTEIN HDS!!!!! thanks

What are the part numbers that they are quoting you on? Have you called them to verify? -
I ordered mine through bimmerparts.com and had absolutely no problems. I'm guessing there was an error somewhere, there should be no problems in ordering from them. I ordered some for my car when I lowered it a month or two back. The price was 320 shipped. Are you sure you got the Bilstein HDs for your car? What part numbers did you order? yea the part numbers are B46-1913,14

exactly, the prices fluctuate i guess, i just got lucky as HELL!!
