ive had these things for like 2weeks but i need tires NOOW!!!! i want them on my car ASAP but dont know what tires to put on. I have an issue....

one dude at americas discount tire is telling me that if i am going to lower the beast, i should put on 245-40-18's just to be on the safe side. the cool thing is that they are pretty inexpensive too. only prob is, will 40 be too high of a sidewall cause of lowering? i am going to get eibach prokit, that lowers like 1,2-1.5" and me some bilstein HDs front and back. with the 18" rims will it be too tall of a sidewall for lowering?? and the other thing is, ISNT 245 a little skinny on 9.5" wide rims? i would prefer tires with a bit of a "lip" on them to protect my expensive shiney new rims. would 275 acheive this or should i just not parallel anytime soon? OOH i could get CURB-FEELERS! lol.....anyway thanks in advance for any comments/suggestions

I run 275/40/18 on my C5 rims (18x9.5 also), which is the stock sizing for the rim from the factory. My car is also lowered with eibach springs, and I have no issues with them.

P275/35R18 is the size you need to run, nothing less unles you can't afford it. It will fit fine, no issues.
