Definitely need to know the year in question. For the 5th gens if I remember correctly the V6 struts are a little taller than the SS ones for example.

Everything I have read says that the SS suspension will fit the v6 and many do do the swap.
What you will find is:- Your car will have the same stance as an SS
- Your V6 Camaro will lower about 0.5”
- The springs are a slightly stiffer spring rate, so the handling will have less roll and be improved
- You will want to get SS shocks as well as they also are a little stiffer and I also believe a little shorter.
