Definitely need to know the year in question. For the 5th gens if I remember correctly the V6 struts are a little taller than the SS ones for example.

      2002 SOM Z28 Camaro - 12.9 @ 104 mph
      1996 3800 Camaro - 13.43 @ 100.77 mph

Everything I have read says that the SS suspension will fit the v6 and many do do the swap.

          What you will find is:
          • Your car will have the same stance as an SS
          • Your V6 Camaro will lower about 0.5”
          • The springs are a slightly stiffer spring rate, so the handling will have less roll and be improved
          • You will want to get SS shocks as well as they also are a little stiffer and I also believe a little shorter.
I bet you can find a set off an SS for pretty cheap as well for people that have modified their SS

          1996 3800 Camaro - 13.43 @ 100.77 mph
