I went through a car wash like 10 years ago and got caught on the tq arm, this is when I was lowered, and spun out and it ripped the tq arm mounts about 2-3”s .lol it was pretty bad but the pinion angle never changed so I just left it. About $150 and Chris the mechanic fixed it. Yeah it was also resting on my 3” exhaust.
