  • I need some help to find out what is the best tire out there.

What I looking for is a new set of tires for the my firebird 2000. So What I want to do is have 18 in the front and the back 19 wheels. I dont know if that will be possible. My car is just stock. I went on tirerack.com and they have the tires I might want they are the Goodyear Eagle F1 supercar tires.

    http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....le+F1+Supercar.

Basically I want it to be just the corvette style. Can I do that to my firebird have 19 in the back and 18 in the front?

My regular size of tires are 245/50 R16.

I know you can go as big as 20s, but I need to know what other suspension mods you have on your car.

You can run 18s in the front and 19s in the back. Remember however that doing that will prevent you from being able to ever rotate the tires for more even wear. Also, I think it looks funny on a Camaro due to the body style.

See my tire guide for compatible tire sizes, I believe you'll need a 275/30R19 in the rear to make it work but I havent done the math on it yet. If you go to buy and want to make sure, PM me.

you link doesnt work, but I had the goodyeat f1 supercar runflats on the V (stock) and I will say they have some insane grip I was pulling over 1G in the skidpad, not average but I was peaking that, but at the same time they were just replaced w/ 7000 miles on em showing the wear bars other owners experience the same thing, I got goodyear to warranty them and but the F1 GS-D3's on, so far I've only peaked .90g's they have more grip I just havent pushed them but its a good tire getting some pretty decent wear from the reviews I've read. My choice in a tire would be the BFG KDW-2 much cheaper, longer lasting and awesome grip...as for the 18/19 combo, I dont personally like it on maro's just doesnt flow, neither do staggered rims for that matter, but it is your car just voicing my opinion.
