Okay I am on my 3rd power steering pump now, in the last 3 months, my return line keeps blowing, and I cannot for the life of me figure out why.. I paid a shop to do the job the first time, and had them re-do it multiple times, and finally did it myself last time... I am at a complete loss at what could be causing this...
Too much pressure common? Should I just make a stainless tube for it instead?
The return line from the rack to the reservoir? There shouldn't be _any_ pressure there, unless something bad is happening in the reservoir like something clogging the port that the return line plugs into.

Ya I know there shouldn't be any pressure, thats the funniest thing. I did it last time, and this is about the first time the line didn't get kinked from idiots not knowing how to tighten the ends, but it still blew about center... I am completely lost about this.
New thought--
Could something be stuck in the rack and cause bursts of pressure causing stress on it till it blew?
I don't know but if I can't get it to work once and for all I'm just going to buy a manual rack I think..
Another thought, thinking about flaring the ends of the return input and output and use some braided steel line instead....
Ya I figured it out, being completely niave to the fact that I have a bad motor mount. When the engine turns it goes too far and pulls the line, then when it comes back down it kinks the line, causing the build up of the pressure and blowing the line...
I knew I had the bad mount just didn't click in my head until this morning, I was looking at my steering shaft and just went DUH! big fricken light bulb...
But ya I'm going to replace the hose, the mount, do my tie rods, align it, and balance and roatate today.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
