you should give sam strano a call from www.stranoparts.com , he could give you better advice than anyone here, but yes new shocks (n spring) would be a huge inprovement
K&N air filter, Whisper air lid, magnaflow LT1 cat back, and magnaflow high flow cat, pacesetter headers, silverstars

more to come soon
but for now im out of money

I got Bilsteins in the rear - huge improvement.

        Re: new shocks blistiens

128K on shocks is way too much. Definitely change them. I guarantee you'll handle better.

The panhard rod handles all the side to side cornering loads (The lcas handle acceleration/braking loads). The GM one is plenty strong, but the bushings are a trifle soft. At 128K it's possible these (or any wearing suspension part) could be worn out. If you change the shocks and the car still feels sloppy in corners they may be the cause.

I changed mine to Bilsteins after only 42K miles or so. They are my favorite all around mod :)

I can tell you that the stock dampers were totally shot when I bought my '98 Camaro (with 67,000 miles on it)....

The camaro dampers seem to not last long before they are worthless to do their job as intended (maybe 35,000 miles)
