Originally I wanted adjustable shocks, but then I found this sick deal for these stock shocks, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1
It sounds like a straight up deal, only thing I'm having trouble with is figuring out if the numbers match up, I dont want to end up with shocks for a v8. or would even that be ok? I've looked all over for the part numbers, on here and havent had any luck.
Re: sweet deal, but need help before auction over.
conisdering that they came from SLP they would either be off of a trans am or z28, i think they would lift your car a little and give you some better handling too, you might need the springs too though, idk but somebody here does i'm sure
Re: sweet deal, but need help before auction over.
ok I've found that the rear matches up, but I cant seem to find the front. on ebay it has it listed as M48 22199128. the front which is listed on ebay as TBK 10443949, says it can either be v6 or v8. So All I need to figure out is the front shocks.
Re: sweet deal, but need help before auction over.
they will work regardlessly, i believe pretty much every fbody suspension part is interchangeable with ANY other same generation, i'm not saying every part, but a large majority including shocks/springs are they different, yes, but is that a bad thing, no, i would reccommend getting z28 springs too if you are getting new shocks, it will raise your car slightly, but it will handle sooooo much better
