i want to drop the rear about an inch or so, don't really want to drop the front, i saw the BMR springs are available in just front, or just rear, i wondered is there any negative to lowering just the rear?
the main concern is the kit specifies 1993-2002 *V8* fbody:
PART #SP003- Rear springs only
that doesn't make a difference does it? i think they are stiffer but will they fit or will i need something else?

if you drop the rear an inch it might feel like the front sits higher when your driving. i dont think it matters if its from a v8 or v6 it should all work as long as you got the correct year 93-97 98-02

Because the lowering rear springs are stiffer, they'll screw up your handling balance, move it into oversteer. Not the hot setup, could even be unsafe.
actually the rear sits a good bit higher than the front, and it is an inch drop, should still be higher, but i guess the understeer thing might be a prob.

there is a reason the rear is higher... I have the eibach pro kit and kyb's and its still higher.... In a rear wheel front engine car the the weight is pushed to the back under ecceleration. Your inertia is pushed back... having the rear higher helps keep it level while the weight is back there... although weight back there is good because you get better tire grip.. hence why a mid engine rear drive car is better...
put 50 pounds in the rear. before i put air shocks to raise mine up, i could drop it very easly. All you need is a bag of concret or gravel or hell just plan weights. On the up side you'll get extra traction.
