  • What do you guys think of my new shocks/springs setup?

Well, I don't have it yet but I wanted to see what you guys think.

Bilstein struts for Camaro SS with SLP springs in the front
LS1 WS6 springs with KYB AGX shocks in the back

The thing that worries me is that SLP springs are lowering springs. The turbo downpipe scrapes and bottoms out badly as it is. Didn't those springs come stock on Camaro SS? So, it shouldn't be lowered right?

I will post some pics in this thread when the install is done. I'm planning on going to some drifting competitions over the summer so I decided to redo my suspension.

I don't know if you have a Spring Compressor or not, but you should take those springs off, then clean and repaint the shocks. I bought a full set of Bilstein's from Pathogen that needed a cleaning and painting, now they are just awaiting installation. I even repainted the springs (talk about dumb).

Eh, you can't even see them anyways. I'm just gonna put them on as soon as I get it.

I just noticed that I posted in the wrong forum. Can I get a move?
