Re: How to raise my car???
1LE springs will lift the car ~1/4" over stock Z28 springs i believe... but I can't help you beyond that

Re: How to raise my car???
BMR has some shock spacers for their coil-overs that will raise the car some. Reducing sprung weight will raise the car a bit, but we're talking weight reduction in the hundreds of lbs. to raise the car a few inches.2001 Arctic White Firebird
More mods than I\'m allowed to list!

Re: How to raise my car???
i installed z28 springs up front, and air shocks to raise the rear. Id say my car rides about 2" higher then stock, and the ride is great! However make sure you get a frontend allinment after the front springs.http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2245261 Green 1997, 105k, all stock except for Z28 front springs, Air shocks in the rear, home made coolant recovery tank, home made battery hold down.

Originally posted by 95fbirdkidok, i understand the needing it to be higher for custom exhaust, but i dont get why you would want to have your car ride higher than stockhttp://www.cardomain.com/ride/2245261 Green 1997, 105k, all stock except for Z28 front springs, Air shocks in the rear, home made coolant recovery tank, home made battery hold down.

Re: How to raise my car???
Curb Weight - Automatic (lb.) (V6) 3525 (V8) 3613
Curb Weight - Manual (lb.)............3479........3591
so about 100 lbs difference, thats less than the weight of a passenger, i doubt the springs are EXTREMELY different
