My 99 3.8 has a little over 100,000 miles and the suspension is definintly wore out. I kind of want to lower it and was looking at this

Improved handling and new suspension...problem is...how harsh is the ride? I cruise with friends/girls more than I do racing/cornering...I can take a little bit sitffer ride but I dont want to be like my friends eclipse 1cm off the ground and no remorse to the back/spinal cord...I read somehwere that the SLP set is easier for general street driving?

    Re: lowering

If your shocks aren't that bad then only springs would be best, lowered but still comfortable ride. I have no experience with that but the description says they wont beat the heck outa ya ne way. my friend upgraded the suspension in his IS300 but changed it back cuz it was too harsh for cruzing.

maybe buy seperate, OEM shocks more for cruising but with lowering springs?
