Got my rims, need help with Tire sizes

    Got my rims, need help with Tire sizes

    Okay first off I'm sure everybody is going to want to see pics. I dont have tires yet so they are not mounted. But for those of you who are (this thread is usless without pictures) hardcore then here you go. PICS!!

    Okay now to my tire question. Those of you who have 17 x 8.5 after market rims what size tires do you have on them?

    I think our stock tire size was P235/55/R16 correct? So to keep from having the speedo being off and all I'd want to keep it close to that size???

    Let me know what you guys think's best.

    Kristen what size did you put on your car? I'll try to check the post often but I'm in a rush to buy some tires so you can also email me @ crosx731@yahoo.com that way I will know sooner.

          Are those the C5 rims off ebay for $429?

          I am probably going to get them for my car. Did you ever figure out the tire size?

            245/45/17! i think there is a 255/50/17, but it may be a bit shorter than 26" not sure

              The 255/50/17 is 27". I think the best size would be a 255/45/17. It's only .2" under the stock size, and it's abit wider than stock. For every 60MPH your speedo says, it'll be slow by about .5MPH, so that's not that bad.

                  yea, thats the one, i had 255/50s on my car for a while, forgot that it was the 255/45s that were correct. But, the 255/50 does look pretty badass on the back.. meaty lookin tire haha

                    I have 17x8.5's on the front of my car. Go with 255/40/17 or 245/40/17.Anything with a bigger sidewall will make your wheels look really small.

                      i got 17x9.5's on mine and i went with 275/40/17's no rubbin or anythin
