is the y87 the only v6 to come out of the factory with rear disk brakes in 01? the car has rear disk brakes and the chrome z28 style rims i am trying to find out if this car is a y87 or not.. whats some other things i could look for to say if it is or not

look at the rpo codes inside the drivers side door and look for y87, every f-body 98+ has rear discs, do a burnout with it and see if both wheels spin :burn: -

when you power brake it just the drivers side wheels spins it has an f87 on the inside of the door i did see that but i don't remember seeing a y872001 Camaro 3.8 A4

I’m new. I actually don’t own a Camaro or firebird. I do have a 2000 Camaro 3.8 fly by throttle and 4l60e. This is installed in a 1980 Triumph TR7...4 weeks ago
