SO i got new rotors and pads done at sears and they get rusty and ugly looking after it rains and im just plain out disgusted it cost me 1000 to do all the brkaes and pads and the 2 rear calipers

I dont really know of anything you can spray on them to deal with it. I wouldnt think thats a good idea anyways cause it could effect the pad friction abilities.

zinc plating, i just did my rotors and pads $300, should have gone with www.rotorpros.com, i got mine painted black, if you got them just zinc plated they would have been $280, and even with limited mechanical ability they would still be easy to install IMO, just have to take off the calipers, 2 bolts, compress the caliper pistons with a c clamp, put on new rotors (slide right on) and then put the pads in the calipers, reinstall the 2 bolts and your wheels, voila you are done, now dont you wish you did it yourself?
