Hey guys, I need to replace my steering rack on a 98 Camaro. When I go to GMPArtsDirect.com they've got several of them listed. I'm looking for the rack for the v8 (is the SS' ratio any quicker than the base v8's?) and I'd rather buy it new off GM or a reconditioned one off a website. I don't want used. Does anybody know the right part number for this or where to go? Is it true that the v8=SS=Y87 is all the same?
