i dont think 20''s look bad on fbods.... i think as long as they are a good lookin wheel that is suited to the look of the car anything can look good..

I believe he is correct, if your car is not lowered. I would not go with a tire width greater than 255. As far as the profile of the tire, 30 should work also. You might have tuck your fender wells for 20's to fit. I have seen a Trans Am with 20's and it looked pretty good, not too over the top.
Cant confirm, but you will need an extremely low profile like stated.
255/30/20 would be 26.02 inches tall.
Stock 235/55/16's are 26.18.
so you really shouldnt have problems height wise, width wise 255's will fit fine.
the only thing not sure off is the offset.
whats wheels did you go with? as long as its not a solid chrome face im sure they'll look good. im sure u realize, if its not what everyone else does its rice or ugly.

i'm also contemplating getting 20's, will the more common and less expensive 255-35-20 tires cause a significant difference in height over stock. I ask this because my car is already lowered.
The 255/35/20's will be significantly larger than stock(about 1" overall diamter). The car will probably be noticably slower in exceleration. I doubt they would even fit on a lowered car without some major modifications.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
