  • Revalved Bilsteins?

I just received my revalved Bilsteins and I was wondering how to check and see if the shocks have been revalved?

I believe that the valves are Internal and could only be checked by tearing the shock(s) apart.

And even then, how could you tell modified valves from stock? You'd need stock valves to compare.

As a practical matter you cannot do this. The easiest way would be to find a shock dyno and a set of non revalved Bilsteins to compare against yours on the dyno. Hardly practical.

You want a _very_ trustworthy vendor for this one. IMHO, Ebay won't cut it.

I just got the revalved Bilsteins from Sam Strano, I've heard he is pretty reputable. My Eibach Prokit should be here soon, I hope the shocks match the springs.

Personally, Strano would be my example of _very_ trustworthy. I wouldn't worry about it.
