I have a problem with my brakes where the rear brakes will not engage at all when the brake pedal is pressed and the brake light in the instrument panel stays on. Could anyone help me identify the problem?

Re: Problems with Brakes
are the brakes spongy when pressed? or are they stiff but only work for the front? if it is spongy it could be you need to bleed the system. If it is stiff, it could be proportioning valve is blocked on the rear side. Are the rear drum brakes or disk?96 Firebird, Ram Air Hood and Airbox, Magnaflow Catback & hi-flow cat, Dynomax Bullet muffler
