  • This sound like a good deal?

From what i've read the KYB AGX shocks seem to be the best, but i've never heard of the springs manufacturer before. Vogtland? Who? Anyway, 500 some bucks shipped ain't bad for springs and shocks, so i was wondering if it was worth it?

Vogtland is a German company (surprised?) that has trying to enter the market.
If you look around, you'll find that they are somewhat reputable and have been involved in professional racing. http://cms.vogtland.com/ITmaxxDeluxe...n=2-7PhahufA-1

Vogtland did their homework, but it makes me wonder why they aren't a household name after all these years. Could be a marketing issue.

Overall, I'd say that it looks like you stumbled on a great deal. You will probably have to work with the shock settings a bit until you find a comfortable setting for those springs.

PLEASE do let us know how it goes. I am thinking of dropping the cash to get some Bilsteins. For the installation cost, I was thinking it would be great to get some springs installed too. I might just throw the money at ebay for a kit like the one you just bought.

Where are you going to get them installed? I've been looking around our area and it seems like Speed Merchant on Lincoln Ave is the only real performance shop here.
When I lived in Southern California, it seemed like there was a performance shop everywhere you looked. Here, they're hard to find!

               on Speed Merchant.

quoted me approx $500 to do the shocks (spring installation is also included - or free, however you want to look at it).

I'd rather go to Pep Boys.
