Would these tires fit or should I be looking for a different size for the front tires, i already know that I am going wider for the back tires, but are these too small for the front?

Re: 215/50/17 tires on 17*9.5 Z06 motorsports
In a word: Yes
In many words: I wouldn't go with anything narrower than a 255/45/17 on a 9.5" wheel. Please don't try to stretch a too-narrow tire on a wide rim. It not only compromises the integrity of the tire, but it seriously undermines your safety. If I were you I would check out a 275/40/17, or a 285/40/17. They are pretty wide, and you can use them on all four corners(rotation friendly). If you really want the staggered setup, go with a 255/45/17 in front, and 275/40/17 in back.Last edited by Lurieh; 07-23-2006, 10:10 PM.

i have 275/40/17's all around. i would not go with anything narrower than 255. 215 is too narrow for the stock 16's in my opinion'99 Camaro Y87 M5 T-tops
