    I have a 96 Camaro I recently took in for an alignment. It was previously in an accident and I replaced the LCAs, sway bar, steering rack, etc.

    The shop was only able to get the camber on the passenger wheel to +2.5* and the drivers wheel to -.5*. The guy said it was because the black piece of metal that the LCA bolts to that you can adjust (it also has 2 bolts that attach it to the steering rack, he thought it was called the lower a-frame) got shifted towards the drivers side in the accident. He said that is the best the car will ever be aligned the way it is now.

    So my question is what can I do about this? Is there some way that piece of metal (what is it called BTW?) can be moved back to where it should be?

    A good body shop will have a "frame straightening machine". It likely won't be cheap.

      its cheaper then replacing worn tires all the time. If you plan on keeping the car, you really should have it done.
