rear sway bar ?'s

Hello all,

I was going around a corner today and heard a loud noise coming from the rear end like I hit something, so I stopped and noticed that i have lost the bolt and bushings off my rear sway bar. I have been thinking about upgrading my swaybars for sometime now. The only thing I have done to the suspension is put bilstien shocks and struts on. What size sway bar is stock? What size rear sway bar should I go with? Where should I buy from? Answers would be appreciated.

Things to know:

The purpose of the rear sway bar is not to reduce roll or improve cornering. It is to balance the handling by transfering some cornering load from the front to the rear.

Upping the rear bar on a car with stock springs and a stock front bar can simply overload the rear tires, causing unsafe handling. It's kinda like putting a full race cam in a stock motor. Not a good idea. Suspension is a system of things meant to work together. If you don't understand how it all works together, and mod just one thing, it can be dangerous. The rear bar is very high on the list of dangerous mods, maybe at the top.

That is why I am asking what size to go with. I don't even know what size the stock one is.

i THINK stock is 19mm... double check that tho
