  • scuffing noise?

I just put new tires and rims on my camaro. I have the stock 5 spoke 16x8 wheels and bf goodrich traction t/a all seasons 235's. when i turn my wheel all the way to the right it makes a scuffing noise but I cant see anywhere that it is rubbing.... anybody have this problem? its the front right wheel that makes the noise. only happens when i turn right... not left.

    Re: scuffing noise?

What profile did you get for those 235's if its 55 then you should be fine as that is an optional stock size. Our tires' sidewall should be 129mm. I had 225/60's on mine and it rubbed the fender wells cause it was too big. they were 135mm. I just had new tires put on this sunday, 245/50's, and thats 122.5mm so there is no rubbing now!
Maybe you have a bad end link, I just had to change them on my girlfriends car and it was making a popping sound when you turned right. I thought it was cv joint until I looked at it and saw there was a broke end link. Hope some of this helps you.

As far as I know CV joints are only on front wheel drive cars or 4X4 so I would look at the link. Hopefully thats it, cause there cheap.
