So i've changed the shocks... i've changed the springs.... but that hasn't solved the problem :( Everytime i go over a speed bump my rearend sounds like an old mattress... creeks horribly, and its embarressing :o

I've checked the rear seat, thats stable as a rock, so its gotta be a part of the suspension that reacts to verticle travel, and isn't the springs or the shocks. Any suggestions??

I've also got this shimmying sound coming from what i think is the door.. which is also kinda weird. Sounds like metal rubbing on metal (but only small bits.. think if you were to rub two steel pencils against each other...).

Best thing to do is remove both of your LCA's and your Panhard Bar and grease them vigorously. The noise WILL go away if you grease it properly. WD-40 will only work as a temporary (10 minute) solution. It's good to use that to isolate the squeak, then remove the part and lube it with a Moly Grease.

had the same problem on mine, it could be a bad U joint. you can check to see if your u joint is bad by holding the car in first, rolling on the throttle up to about 2500ish rpms, flooring it, then instantly closing the throttle around 4500. if your U joint is going out it will make a loud BANG sound (not a back fire, its like the slack in the U joint as everything changes direction, a good one wont make noise). you can change your own U joint if you have a press, otherwise id take it somewhere. the hardest part is getting the old one out. its usually the rear one BTW

Thanks for the advice guys... I'll check out those theories, but i doubt i'll be able to do anything about it until the end of next month ( money > :spank: > me )

Btw i love how everyone starts their posts with: "i had the same problem as you..." and yet its always a different problem :D

Check rear stabalizer bar bushings. When I put poly on mine I had the brackets spaced too far apart. Even though I greased them well, they still squeaked. Loosened the clamps and shifted them towards the center, eliminated the squeak.

I have similar banging noises coming form my rear as well(that sounds dirty ;) )

I am actually going ot bump my rear up and check it out.

If you have squeks you jsut need to grease something my rear sway bar bushings needed grease, I greased them and all was good.

see if your spare tire is loose in your back end, if you still have it that is. that's what my squeak was from not properly putting it back last time I had to use it....lol.
