    which way does the pattern on drilled/slotted rotors need to face?

    What? It should be obvious which rotor goes where... cuz you can't put them on backwards....

        oh really? i didn't know that!!!

        duh! but you CAN however have the angles for the slots and the drill holes to where they are "ripping into the pavement" when going forwards or to where they are "rolling" over it.

        so at the top of the rotor, the slots should be going at a downslope from right (highpoint) to left (low point) as if they are "rolling" over the pavement?

          <edit> Further confirmation from Brembo FAQ:

          Additionally, all of Brembo's slotted discs are directional as well, regardless of the vane geometry. The discs should be installed such that the end of the slot nearest the outer edge of the disc contacts the pad first. Please see figure.
