  • Lowering springs >1.4" drop

I've been looking at all the F-Body parts sites but everyone seems to only carry the Eibach kit thats 1.25-1.4" drop. I'm looking for something more on the order of 1.75-2" drop. I see some on Ebay but I don't know how those springs are rated compared to Eibach or similar name brand. I'd like the springs to black too. I'm going to start removing stuff I don't need in my car to drop weight but keep it usable so I might go with something as extreme as 2" then hope with removing 100-150 lbs off the front and 100-150 off the rear that it would raise it to more like a drop of 1.8" or so which is where I'd like to be.

H&R springs dropped the sh**T out of my 94 V6.
It says 1.25 drop, but I got 1.3/4 out of them.
I measured befor & after with a tape.

Is this proven? I see sportlines being the same drop as regular, rated at 1.25" drop.

Sportlines are advertised as a much lower drop than the prokit. Check their website, or summit or jegs. The prokit is good for 1.4 and teh sportline is for 1.7-2 or something like that.

Pro-Kit, 1" drop front and rear and no sportline. I see the sportline is listed for that year in the v8 and thats as a 1.8" but woulden't that make it a little less for a v6 since our cars weigh a little less?

i got the spring tech off ebay cheap and effective. car is extemely low now. but i used stock replacement shocks and it rides pretty rough. back wheels sit about level with the top of the wheel well. hanling was noticibly better but harsher due to the big drop and cheap shocks.

I got the Intrax springs from Summit, which claimed a 2" drop. I never measured though.
