Does anyone have 20" wheels and tires on their cars. I have a 2000 firebird and it's lowered and i'm about to put back the stock springs and put 20's. Any advice out there is greatly appreciated. Any instructions on how to replace the springs will come in handy also. I've replaced the springs with a friend a couple of years ago and have forgotten how to do them. I know the back is easy it's the front under the master cylinder. the bolt is underneath the brake fluid casing. any advice is greatly appreciated.

20s are a terrible wheel for a f body i would say never go more then 18... it looks real bad other wise... -

Dude, 20s aren't big enough, get some duece dueces. 22s on an Fbody would be the BEST LOOK EVER!!!!Comment

Maybe I'm just too conservative, but I think anything bigger than a 17" does not look good. The engineers at Pontiac equipped the WS6 and Firehawk with 17" from the factory, so if that was good enough for them then good enough for me :) Also, personally I think anything bigger than 17 inch wheel looks too big on the f-body, and makes the car appear somewhat of a clown with big shoes (IMO).Comment

If you get 20 x 8.5 with 255/35/20 series tires you probably won't have any real bad fitment issues...Comment

Yep, that's what i got right now. my car is lowered and i have grounds when i put the 20's the back fits perfect but the front just sat on the tire. i've even replaced the tire with 245x35x20 and added a lift block still wouldn't fit. So i'm thinkin' might have to replace the lowered springs with the stock springs. but wanted any opinions before i do this. i hate to give up the wheels they look smokin on the car. i had 18's and they looked sweet on the car until some idiot stole my car. and stripped it. so i upgraded to 20's after i got my car back.Comment

I've looked at other sizes which is the easiest way but couldn't find something that caught my attention and i didn't want to dish out another cash after i spent a lot of money on the 20's.Comment

i have seen 22 on an fbody with bags it looked ok........i personally have 18's on bags and i love it......20's were alittle out of the price range on the rims that i got but with the 18's my body kit sits on the ground when the bags are aired outComment
