I need new tires and I want to get these, the reviews are mostly good and they are cheap for the 235/55/16 size. I searched too and most people on here seem to like them. The only negatives I have found is that they generate a lot of road noise. Does anybody have these and have any experience with how noisey they are? Also, in Ohio we get a lot of snow...how are they in the snow?

Re: BFGoodrich Traction TA
I don't think the road noise is bad at all. I can still hear all the other rattles and vibrations in my car over them so it can't be too load. I don't know how much snow you get up there, but in VA it is never "bad" and I have driven with them. They aren't good snow tires, but you can get by if you have to.

Re: BFGoodrich Traction TA
I have the 245's which are actually V rated I belive, had grand plans to add a turbo and take off the speed limiter but just never materialized. My outer edges seemed to wear faster than anything else like the tire was run on low pressure but I always kept it around 34-36 PSI.
These stuck to dry pavement really well when new though and were great in the rain, very limited experience in snow though. Like light snow twice.
They were pretty quiet when new but now they roar like hell, but between my exhaust and stiff suspension it really doesn't make that much of a difference.
on a side note one contributor to the wear is my alignment right now, it's off a bit.
After saying all that I will be putting them on (235's this time) when I have to get new tires in the next few months.-Brad

Re: BFGoodrich Traction TA
I think a lot of tires get noisey as they wear. Currently I have Bridgestone RE910's they were quiet when new and now with 47K on them they rumble quite a bit. The concern was that the Traction TA's were noisey right away, and it sounds like that's not true.
So they suck in snow? I can't have that, I need something decent in snow. I might reconsider then.1999 Y87 Camaro<br />Whisper Lid, SLP SS Takeoff Exhaust

For snow traction I run Dunlop Winter Sport M3s. They work in 95% of snow conditions, makes me feel like I own a rally car.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro
