I've been looking at getting some new wheels; fell in love with a wheel design and color only to find out the rears only come in a 15mm offset (they're 19x9.5).
I'm trying to figure out what the offset my current wheels are so I can get an idea of how much difference that will be. My current wheels stick out of the bottom half of the fender a bit and would hit the top of the fender if you could lowered the body that far.
Here's my math for it, currently I have 18x8.5 wheels. Center would be 4.25; I measure 3.75" from the outer half of the rim to where the wheel meets the hub. 4.25-3.75=.5" difference which would be roughly 13mm.
Conversly I should also be able to measure out from my wheel hub (4.75" - 15mm positive offset (.59") = 4.16" out from the wheel hub.
Are these assumptions correct?
