rear tire size question

im thinking about getting c6 rims soon, i know i want 17x9.5 in front and was thinking 18x10.5s in the rear...but do you think that they would be too wide?

I have that setup, not the five spoke but the other design. It does look aggressive but I'm kinda upset that I cannot rotate my tires and have to replace them as they wear out. At $200 a pop, its not fun. Plus the really low profile tires required for them to fit made my ride very harsh. Im happy with the looks and Im running 200 rpms less on the freeway so my MPG must be a bit better but I'm not the happiest with this setup. I just want my ride to be a bit softer. I may be selling mine soon...

I've got 18x9.5/18x10.5 and I like the cornering and looks. the ride is harsher and can't rotate tires, but who needs tires as often when u have 295's on the rear.

w/17x9's, you cain still fit 275's at all corners & rotate them too ;)
