i have the same sway bar and i don't have a difference in body roll from L to R. don't know why that would happen, maybe check the torques on everything? maybe worn out springs or shocks?

how much of a diffrence did this make for you?
i dont want to buy springs or anything like that untill i get rims... but i wasnt sure if buying a new sway bar would be worth it

        Re: 32mm sway bar installed!!

i added a 32mm bar and saw body roll almost go away. (since thats kinda their purpose.)

unless you mean your car rolls less than before but it rolls more when making a left vs making a right.

did you tighten the endlinks while the front suspension was under load? its possible that could be your problem.

im still using the stock 3.4 rear bar (which i believe is 17mm. the 3.8 is 15mm iirc.)

its not terrible but i am having rear traction issues, especially in the rain.

i just cant find a good deal on a 19mm or 21mm bar.

Seems like a good investment. Where did you get the sway bar for $65?

If you're having rear traction problems now, installing a bigger rear bar will make them much worse. A bigger rear bar reduces rear traction. The jumps of 2mm are relatively large on the rear.

i have the 32/21mm setup from a WS.6 on my car...that along with the springs and shocks...wow...i freaking LOVE it!

definately the sway bars are a great mod if you want little to no body roll!

i dont really know what the effect of the rear sway is on the suspension to be honest.

but i wasnt sure if it would help or hurt my problem. but i wasnt really expecting it to solve it. im getting the bmr lca relocation brackets which should do the trick. (since the problem appeared after lowering.)

The WS6 setup is actually 32/19. Those are someones idea of custom bars. On WS6 springs, they might be OK but GM's 32/19 would be better.

The rear bar doesn't reduce roll significantly. It's a suspension tuning device. It increases front traction and reduces rear.

yah my bad, i ment 32/19...

and i've got aftermarket springs/shocks/struts...so it corners like nuts.

I have the 32mm BMR (f) and 21mm (r) BMR sway bars. When I was figuring out what I wanted a long time ago v6Bob said the same kind of things, and I listened to some of them. I got ws6 rims too. I did that trying to make it more stable because v6Bob said that the 21mm was too thick for our cars. I love the way my car handles with the way I have it. If I go around a corner and try to make the back end step out it does smoothly and predictibly. I feel that my car handles very well and would recommend the setup. But without the wider tires I can't say either way. I would listen to v6Bob, the suspension threads I've read with him in them show he knows what he's talking about.
