How do i take them off?
What do i have to do when they are off?
Do i need a primer if i paint them red?
What can i use to really clean them before painting them?
to make it easier.. you dont have to take them off.
just put newspaper all around the wheel wheel and the caliper. then just sand it down.. wash it.. dry it and paint. let it dry and throw another coat on.
they sell a kit at most auto parts store. Should be in the teens but I don't remember exactly how much. I would recomend having an extra brush on hand because the one they include is a joke.
Let's flip a coin. Heads I get tail, Tails I get head.
the one i got was a brush on and the results were pretty good. Haven't used a spray on before either way make sure you clean them good before applying paint. The kit should include a caliper cleaner.

I put quite a few coats of clear on mine and they just wiped clean when I washed my car yesterday. I had to get new calipers so mine were off and clean allready but heres how they turned out. http://forum.camarov6.com/showthread.php?t=72239
