i've done brake jobs on several other cars before too... never had a bolt come loose until my camaro.. then i do a search on ls1tech.com and find out that it is somewhat common.
in my school i am in an automotive texh prep thing, and our teacher is a full out ASE qualified mechanic. He makes us follow all of the precautions and makes us do everything the right way, even if it isnt the fastest way.
He said nothing about using loctite on the bolts... but made sure i used either silicon spray to lube up the parts(i forget, but i think it was silicon spray)
as long as you torque to specs and amke sure everything is on right.. you wil be fine...
and yeah.. bleeding the breaks is a must.. look up the correct procedure on how to do it and you wil be fine, simply pooring in more fluid does not correct the problum
