Not being a **** but if your asking what it takes to re-surface rotors you don't have the equipment to do it and need to take them to a brake shop. For my gf Bonneville it was cheaper to just replace her rotors then get them re-surfaced.

To change the rotors, just remove tire and caliper and rotor slides off, may need a rubber mallet to make easier. Good luck

        Re: front rotors

Well i just went to carquest and picked up some blank factory replacements and premium pads. My dad's friend who's been a mechanic for many years told him that the rotors aren't so much what matters in brakes, it's mainly in the pads. Anyway, i understand the cheaper rotors may not last as long, but most people just replace the rotors rather than have them turned.

Anyway, these rotors are really heavy and i'm putting them on tomorrow most likely, i'll tell you guys how they perform compared to what i had..

                Re: front rotors

Hey guys, came across this thread while browsing. If there's anything I can help answer, let me know.

Niko97RS, crushedout, ssms5411 ..... you guys are awesome, thanks for the vote. If you're have problems with the pads, let me know. What I can probably do is get you better pads at a heavily discounted price.

We have two different lines of rotors. The ones that you guys probably have is the Eline. The Eline Rotors are zinc plated silver. The rotors are casted overseas (Japan, Taiwan, China, etc), but the machining is done at our facility in Anaheim, CA. Between each slot is one line of drilled holes. Since these rotors are casted overseas, some PERCEIVE that the quality is poor. Not true at all. 90% of what we sell are the Eline rotors and many customers have done good reviews on them. In addition, the pricing can not be matched by any other competitor.

Our new line of rotors is called the Premium rotors. The Premium rotors are electro-coated black on the hubs as well as the inner vents. Although the prices are a little more expensive, the rotors have a stronger tensile strength and a stronger casting. Between each slot is 2 lines of drilled holes.

                Price:
                93-97 Premium (4 Rotors) = $289.99
                93-97 Eline (4 Rotors) = 127.99

                98-02 Premium (4 Rotors) = $299.99
                98-02 Eline (4 Rotors) = 137.99

                Premiums look similar to

                  Re: front rotors

                  hey R1concepts,

the rotors are great, however the pads i got leave a little to be desired. they are semiorganic and create an INCREDIBLE amount of brake dust.

if i wash my car and drive 5 miles...my rims are already dirty again
so my only suggestion is please include better pads with ur rotors.
other than that, you cant beat $90 shipped for the best rotors i ever had

                      Re: front rotors

98+ cars have 4 rotors, as do 97- cars with Y87. I'm sure you can get them in two's too..

                        98-02 Eline (4 Rotors) = 124.99
