    back me up...

    alright so is there a difference between the 93-97 backing plates and the 98-02 backing plates? aka caliper mounting bracket

    i need to know cuz i can get some 98-02 mounts but i havent been able to find a 93-97 set. any help would be much appreciated.

    no one has any idea if they are different? i find this hard to believe.

      Wrong forum buddy.
      I sent this off to the correct forum.
      Check on it there.

      I believe they are different. However you could buy the newer style calipers and bracket and they will bolt on to your car.

      98+ use the ls1 brakes, which have a different caliper and a larger rotor, so the bracket will most certainly be different.
