really only necessary if the car is lowered, just get some LCA's period, best suspension mod ever.

That STB in the first link WILL NOT fit on your car. That bar was designed for the LS1, so you'll have the same issue with the alternator again

No, you haven't...you've seen a STB made by the same company on V6 cars, but I can say with complete certainty that you have not seen the STB in the first link you gave on a V6 car. Like I said, that bar is made for V8's, so it will hit the alternator if you try and put it on your car. BMR makes a STB that will fit the 3.8
